(Shelby, NC – December, 2010) Attorney Daniel R. Talbert has just been certified by the North Carolina Bar as a specialist in State Criminal Law.
He joins as one of only 102 members of the Bar who have qualified for this distinction in North Carolina since 1991. To be certified as a specialist, he must: (1) be favorably evaluated by other lawyers and judges through peer review; (2) pass a written examination in the specialty practice area; (3) be an active member in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar for at least five years; (4) devote substantial involvement of his practice to the specialty during the past five years; and (5) attend continuing legal education seminars in that specialty.
Mr. Talbert is a partner with the firm of Teddy, Meekins & Talbert, P.L.L.C., in Shelby, North Carolina. He practices primarily in the areas of criminal defense law and family law in Cleveland and Rutherford Counties.
